Happenings

The last essence in the Dragonfly Garden collection was finished a few days ago. Now the full set is complete. All thirty-two essences. My feeling is there'll be some more along the way but not for a little while. We've plenty to be getting on with.

(The cosmos flower which gave us the essence for 'energy field protection'. )

Angels of Nature, the much awaited book, is in it's final stages. I just had a phone call from the publisher to let me know that it's off to the printer's. So it won't be long now until the book is here in all it's glory! All the delays have meant that I have had a chance to put all the new essences in an appendix so the book also contains the information for the full 32 essences. Divine timing is always perfect!! (if sometimes frustrating).

I have a huge list of things to do before the book comes out so I might just light the fire and get stuck in to it.

blessings.

Suprise Violets

We've had some stunning sunny winter's days here. Now it's rainy and cold. I like both kinds of winter weather. I started making the Dragonfly Garden Essences on a beautiful warm sunny day and ended up making the second batch a day later in a very wet rainy garden. The flowers and plants are just loving the rain. I am making the garden set of essences before we have any frosts which will be the end of the flowers for the season.

Amongst the Alyssum, the Cosmos, the Strawberries and Roses some little violets have just appeared out of nowhere in the garden. Just in time for the essence making. The tiny purple and yellow flower no bigger than a thumbnail just appeared in the lettuce patch on the right day. The violet essence helps us relate with tenderness in partnerships and softens any harshness in relationships, especially in our relationship to ourselves! Sound like a good idea to me.

As usual I've been testing the new essences out on everyone here and the conclusion is that they are all good. Tashi licked up her essences enthusiastically and Tudor disappeared into a meditative bliss before I could get any feedback out of him. (He filled me in later on.)

Over the next few days we'll see what new suprises there are in the garden. The devas always know exactly what needs to be done and when, they just don't see the point in telling me early. And it all unfolds beautifully.

Winter of the Soul

Winter is upon us, more or less. We have just had the shortest day of the year and it is time to reflect and be introspective. Of course I have been wanting to get things done but the last few days have seen me give in to the spirit of the season. It was very frustrating trying to go at full speed when everything else had slowed down. So I gave up. Now I've let go of my need for everything to happen NOW I'm much happier. I'm sure it'll all happen in it's own time.

Meanwhile, the winter sun is shining. The garden is sleepily humming to itself. The lounge room where the morning sun comes pouring in is everyone's favourite place. At night the temperature drops and the fire keeps the chill off the air. Outside the stars are splashed across the sky in the cold night air. Stargazing is brief and followed by a dash inside to the fireplace to warm up again.

And with the end of the financial year here already it seems that it is the time is for sorting, reflecting and looking at how things are - on many levels. Patience, acceptance and insight are probably most helpful qualities right now. One day I'll learn how to be patient!
